I honestly thought Code Geass R2 and Kure-nai would be the only two shows I’d be following this season, but I guess not. I suppose as a joke a friend of mine recommended that I should watch Zettai Karen Children but didn’t tell me why only saying that, “You NEED to watch Zettai Karen Children. It seems to me that it could quite possibly be your favorite show ever. I cant tell you anything about it, you just need to watch it.” I’m going to pin it on the fact it has 10 year old girls with superpowers fighting evil. This guy seems to know my tastes better than even I myself do.
Regardless of my tastes, the first episode was horribly mediocre and left me kinda just semi interested. Honestly, I kinda wish this show had some fanservice to make it interesting. It’s always like this. The shows I want to have fanservice don’t have it and the shows I don’t want to have fanservice have it.
I think it’s a little weird there is a character that is like Hard Gay who shoots lasers from his crotch. O_o Ooookay. The three main girls who have psychic powers aren’t bad. I like the other two girls but not the tomboy one, obviously. And it’s not just because Aya Hirano is doing her voice. I actually like the 3 girl’s character designs and to be honest I actually like the character designs overall in this show. I’m not sure what it is but it really looks old school but more modern if that makes any sense.
I like the OP and ED since they’re both catchy and fun, but a little annoying at times in the OP where it sounds like the girls are cheering.
Overall rating: Meh. Try again next week.

I fail to see how Aya Hirano’s voice is “screechy” in this show. Mabye you could elaborate a bit more?

Benu@ I don’t need to. You just need to hate Aya Hirano and it all falls into place.

[...] WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BLOODY SPECIAL A? Instead of seeing something like Ouran, I get an Ass-ran filled with Naruto tards trying to act Japanese. I wanted to see something that resembles a decent comedy with a group of likable characters. I got more. I got a grating mixture of excellent comedy that continues to impress me. Oh, I mean impress as in “how the hell did they make an above average manga be absolute shit in anime form”. I am so impressed with the ABSOLUTE COMEDY. [...]
