Finally! I’ve been waiting for this to happen after 3 long months of on and off watching of Maison Ikkoku. Way to go Godai!

    Duuuuude. The denoument, the denoument. The “ending” comes a bit early with some episodes showing life “after.” After carefully and deliberately licking the tootsi roll (I watched Maison in small batches over nearly 5 months), when you get near the end, you end up biting it off. I think I zipped through final 6 like a kid finally reaching the end of a rainbow.
