Code Geass R2 16 – Nippon BANZAI!

This episode was full of her. I was happy and then fapped.

I liked this episode. Episode 16 really got me interested because it wasn’t over the top ESPECIALLY nothing like the previous episode which was just weird and full of DERP. I actually wasn’t expecting this episode to be too good when watching at first. When I saw Cornelia dressed in what seemed like a straight jacket bondage wear outfit thing, I was worried that this episode was gonna be another shitty one. At least she was only on screen for a brief moment, and the episode got only better. It just felt more like what I would expect of Code Geass whatever that means. I liked the political stuff going on and the random guys from the Knights who we haven’t seen much of so far starting trouble. Cecile and Lloyd actually show up for the first time or what seems like it this season. I complained about the BGM of the last episode but oddly enough I really liked the BGM for this episode and really fit the various situations in this episode. Etc. Etc.

Kallen definitely was pretty cool this episode maybe being a POW has been a good experience for her? She’s been kinda like just chilling in a cage for a good portion of the season so far and out of no where when she’s on screen she’s just beating the shit out of Suzaku.

The conversation between Suzaku and Anya was very interesting. It makes me wonder if Anya REALLY is Lelouch’s real sister or maybe like a lot of the other characters memories (Lelouch’s especially) haven’t been what we were being lead to believe for some time. I’m sure whatever it is we theorize and speculate, Sunrise is just going to pull something out of there ass that none of us saw coming.

I think I like Cooking and Cleaning C.C more than the old one. This new one is so moe even if she is mortal now. I find it so hilarious that just earlier this season I was complaining about the big breasted characters of the show in this entry. But here I am saying how much this new C.C is cute and all. It really is the personality that makes the woman. She could have the best body, money, interesting abilities, but if her personality is shit and not appealing she is pretty much not attractive in my eyes.

YES! This scene was awesome. Could it be that The Order of the Black Knights is rising from the ashes? I think so. After a series of crippling losses I really think they’re starting to get a foothold again with this federation stuff and basically turning the war into a Us versus Britannia. Then when you think all is great, the emperor comes back out of nowhere! FFFFFFFFFFFFF

When Lelouch tells Suzaku he IS Zero (again) that face Suzaku just made me laugh. I can only imagine the anger he felt. Haha ownt.

One complaint that this episode makes apparent to me is the Code Geass universe has a lot of neat and interesting characters but we know nothing about them really and they hardly show up or never get enough screen time. I just know that in the last few episodes we’re going to get a lot of info shoves down our throats about a bunch of them too. I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing.

Well this is the second good episode to come out so far. It actually put me in a pretty good mood since I actually got really into this episode. In my eyes, season 2 has been fail, but when a good episode comes along it really makes trudging through the shit somewhat worth it? Next week Suzaku and Lelouch meet alone. Hmm…
