The Bottom Line
I like anime, manga, video games, and Japanese culture.
My personal blog is called Fragments of Dreams, which is mostly summed up with the phrase rants and whines from Youth to Old Age.
My Last.fm profile is here. I don’t use it very much though.
Purpose of blog among other things: This blog really serves no purpose except as an outlet for me to write about my many hobbies. I’m not looking to copy cat other anime bloggers and just do the same old things by posting tons of images and writing a summery that you can find on other anime blogs or just by watching the damn episode. I mainly just like posting my criticisms and what I found to be neat about what I watch. I like being critical about everything I watch most of the time because nothing really satisfies me. But it doesn’t mean I can’t be overly ridiculous and degrading either. I like writing about what I want to not what everyone else wants me to. I’ve been trying to constantly grow as a writer. Ultimately, I like writing and I’ve been blogging in many different forms since 2000.
The name for my blog クロス† チャネル comes from my favorite visual novel of the same name only theirs is written in English. CROSS†CHANNEL is created by FlyingShine. My user name Koji Oe (孤児 おえ) is a combination of two things. Koji is a name of a perverted character I created in a fantasy story I used to write as a kid who is an orphan (Koji means orphan in Japanese). Oe comes from the last name of Kintaro Oe from Golden Boy. Koji Oe was usually an alias I used in visual novels.
There was a time I was known on the internet as the tripfag, “tonberryking” mainly on 4chan’s /a/ where I was scorned and hated, but perhaps /a/ had a tsundere love for me and my faggotry. I really don’t go there anymore, but I will post from time to time.
I have been studying Japanese for about 2 years, and one of that year was spend living in Japan. Where I learned much about myself, other world cultures, and maybe a little bit about Japan. My Japanese skills are some what on a level I feel I can translate for myself but not for the general public too much. I plan on taking JLPT level 2 in December so I am studying like mad until then.
Hmm, well this is much more a personal blog than an anime blog.
Rule #1: get your content straight. get a second personal blog if you need to vent. an ocasional personal post is ok but you must not abuse it.
Keep at it, post daily and you’ll build yourself a nice little readership in no time.
Why is the kanji 128/448? Shouldn’t it be something like 128/1945?
I do not see any of you drawings posted here. i would love to see them. I just started a month ago, and no, I am not planning on quiting my day job.
If you have a problem with it do not look at it.
There was a “Tripfag” thread on /a/ today. You were mentioned many times. And you are correct in /a/ is tsundere for you. I’m sure if you ever come back you’ll cause a large scale flame war. : )
Probably.
hey man… nice blog!
good luck on your study ‘aboard’
have fun with your eroge
You have a cool site. Man, I wish I took a major in Japanese and could study aboard. Damn, way didn’t I notice the japanese course. *Sigh*
Rin@ Thanks.
shugoi desu ne

Hmm, just read your partial translation of some of the Tokimemo 2 text. So thanks for that. I liked the cheery threat at the top. Can’t believe you don’t like Kimi ga Nozomu. Ah, maybe it doesn’t match up to the game. Now back to my kanji dictionary.

You can have it both, there is no need to be exclusive, a blog is an extension of one’s self and does not need to be only about one thing or the other, one thing that makes blogs great is that they have no restrictions in terms of what you can post. This is a great blog and even if it became on a personal blog I would still read it.
Hi there Bryan I just found your blog looking for Maison Ikkoku websites. I think your blog is very interesting. I have been watching anime since I was a little girl. I agree that there are series that help you to grow up and you get identified with a character’s personality :). I’m 25, and I am a big fan of shoujo anime, the 80s and american cartoons. When I started to watch anime I was like 5 years old and in that time I used to watch Candy Candy and Gatchaman :). Those left me a lot of good memories.
I didn’t read your entire post about Maison Ikkoku because I haven’t finished yet. I am glad to find other fans. I really don’t know much people that knows this series. I also hate when people make comments criticizing this series saying they prefer InuYasha but well that’s just them..
Well, I really like your blog, I’ll add it to favorites :).
Have a good weekend.
iNana@ I’m glad you like my blog. lol :D
What’s goin on Bryan? I’m in a predicament and I think you might have the answer. I read through one of your posts about japanese sellers who don’t ship internationally for whatever reason. I have some questions for you since you live there. I couldn’t find your email on here so I’m asking you to email me at… Hrangue@gmail.com and I’ll elaborate on my situation further. Thanks in advance.
I managed to find some answers and solutions. If you still have any advice I’m all ears.
Hi, nice blog
I’ve been reading your posts for quite sometime now
I just started my own blog mainly on anime manga and moe stuff (I know there’s not much there right now T.T I’ll probably keep on posting), good if you can add me to your blogroll. Thanks
ALTIMIT@ I usually only link to blogs that I read so maybe if you get some content that is relevant to my interests…
Something you posted on my blog interests me a bit. What does it matter if I’m only 16?
amayalee@ It doesn’t matter. I was only surprised is all.
Lol, really? How come? I don’t think it’s too shocking. Your blog is nice, by the way.
amayalee@ It is more like I am older, I guess? I dunno. 16 wasn’t too far off when I started blogging.
Thanks for the compliment. I try my best and, good luck to you!

Fuck.
I’m kidding. I actually enjoy reading your blog
asdf@ Thanks! At least someone does.
Just found your blog yesterday, and must say I really love alot of your little insights. Was looking up ways to get into learning some japanese to be able to read through game titles and menu screens a bit and found a link here.
Keep up the cool blogging, I’ll be reading as much as I can when i’m not reading your archive :D
Cool. Thanks for the comment! :)

interests that are conveniently the interests of many ^_-
Mainly focused on my figure collection and all about my PVC loved ones but
also strong with anime and manga I read and watch, conventions and fun
with languages.

Hey, I started to reply to your comments in a civil matter but you never replied to those either. So I stopped taking anything you write seriously. Not to mention half the fucking shit you comment on degrades me in some way so how can I not reply the way I do? Fucking grow up.
